Blaize Barn and Wool Cottage are luxury 5 star cottages in the heart of Lavenham, Suffolk.
Wool Cottage sleeps 2; Blaize Barn comfortably sleeps 4 but is popular for 2. The two cottages are only yards apart so can be used together to accommodate a group of 6.
Lavenham is a stunning medieval village in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Both cottages are within a 2-minute walk of excellent pubs, village shops (including a butcher & a baker) and restaurants (including the nationally rated French restaurant, The Great House). There are over 200 listed Tudor buildings in the village.
Short breaks are a speciality and are popular in the winter months when the log fires, local walks and excellent local pubs and restaurants are key features. Short breaks are available at all times of the year and you can arrive and leave on either a Friday or a Monday.
Both cottages are Grade 2 listed buildings and feature lots of original mediaeval oak beams, log fires, flat screen Sky TV and DVD players, cinema surround sound, king sized beds, double bathtubs, power showers, free WiFi, highest quality furnishing and fittings, new kitchens with granite worktops, private parking and a welcome pack.
Blaize Barn has delightful private gardens. One of the bedrooms and the bathroom are on the ground floor and this is helpful for guests with limited mobility. In the event of visitors there is dining space, crockery etc for 6.
Wool Cottage has a small courtyard garden and a spacious luxury bedroom, which includes a double bathtub (in addition to a separate jumbo shower in a separate shower room!) and also a 28- inch flat screen TV with SKY TV, a DVD player and cinema surround sound. This cottage is definitely ideal for winter short breaks!
