Situated in a beautiful area with stunning scenery and plentiful bridleways. Experience the thrill of beach riding only 18 miles away. Ride the Lindsey Trail, a route in the Wolds for horse riding, carriage driving, cyclists and walkers.
The Poet Laureate Alfred, Lord Tennyson was born at Somersby two miles away and the stream at the bottom of our land is the babbling brook mentioned in his work.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are a hidden gem and a delight to explore. The choice is endless - the market towns of Horncastle and Louth are nearby, Horncastle in particular has plenty of antique shops to spend many an hour in, Alford with its windmill and Manor House is situated at the start of the coastal plain beneath the Wolds. Aviation enthusiasts may wish to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby, motor sport is available at Cadwell Park, there are numerous golf courses nearby and for horse racing enthusiasts, check out the fixtures at nearby Market Rasen.
Coastal resorts are within 20 miles and November is a good time to visit Donna Nook to see the seals "pupping."
