Luxury cottage with scenic views in Northumberland

Lemmington Lodge is purpose built and generously proportioned to offer the highest quality accommodation for six adults in three double en suite bedrooms. All bedrooms have super king double beds but can be set up as twins on request. Travel cots are also available on request and all bedrooms are large enough to accommodate these with ease.

Large open plan living area features a six-meter panoramic sliding door which opens onto a natural stone terrace whilst providing spectacular views. Quality sofas provide comfortable seating around a Morso wood-burning stove and large LED TV with integrated DVD player, perfect for unwinding after an exciting day exploring Northumberland. The circular dining table provides a useful area for eating, reading and playing board games whilst a writing desk positioned to take advantage of the views is a great place to catch up on your emails or to write a postcard to a loved one.

For your convenience, there is a library stocked with interesting books, board games and DVDs for all ages. The contemporary styled kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, integrated microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a wide range of cooking utensils, appliances, crockery and glassware. All bedrooms have full height glazed doors opening onto the garden and terraces that surround the lodge. En suite bathrooms are well proportioned and benefit from showers over the bath except for one which also features a separate walk-in shower.

Digital radios and wall-mounted LED televisions with integrated DVD players are provided for your convenience, as are Penhaligon’s toiletries.

A spacious garden bordering mature woodland surrounds the lodge and features two terraces with high-quality garden furniture and a barbecue. Regrettably, pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted inside the building. The property benefits from underfloor heating controlled by individual thermostats in all rooms which allow you to select the temperature that best suits your needs. Egyptian cotton bedding, bathrobes and towels are provided for your use. Duvets are provided as standard however luxury cotton sheets and blankets are available on request.

Meet the owner

Lydia Achard

The estate has been family owned for many years; it's run by Lydia, who also manages a local shoot. She worked for Scott Dunn in London for several years before moving back up here with her young family, so she knows exactly how to look after people and to organise the holiday they want. She will meet and greet - unless you prefer to let yourselves in.
