We welcome you to this beautiful, unspoilt location in Devon where you may relax and unwind, away from the stresses of city living. At Long Furlong you can swim, either in the Indoor Pool or the dual purpose spa which offers you the capacity to train in the constant temperature and flow of the swim jet and then relax in the warm soothing hydrotherapy hot tub. Enjoy the health benefits of the infrared sauna, massage and beauty treatments. .
Take in the wonderful views across the rolling countryside to the sea, enjoy the magical sunsets and look at the stars in an unpolluted night sky.
We have a variety of beaches close by, together with Tourist Attractions including Docton Mill, Clovelly, Hartland Abbey, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Cheristow Lavender. Cycling on the Tarka Trail, horse riding, surfing and golf.
Village pubs, shops and the coastal path is a 20 minute walk in either direction. Wonderful views across the valley to the sea from the complex.
All of the cottages have been renovated, extended and improved to 5 Star level over the course of the last few years, are owner managed and have different changeover days of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Spa facilities
The leisure building includes an indoor pool which is 1 metre deep kept at a computer controlled 30 degrees C. Treatments are offered within the spa by fully qualified therapists. An infrared sauna and outdoor swim-spa; which offers the capacity to train in the constant temperature and flow of the swim-jet, then relax in the warm soothing hydrotherapy hot tub. The swim-spa is available Whitsun to mid-September. However an additional hot tub is available all year.
A large recreation lounge, offered to adults only, includes a large screen TV with cinema sound systems and full Sky package, computer with broadband internet access and wireless connection.
In the grounds which are mainly to lawn we have an indoor under 5's play house to complement the outdoor play equipment for children.

An “upside” down cottage with two separate entrances each leading to bedroom accommodation. Two double bedrooms each with en-suite shower rooms and one twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom. The main farmhouse sleeps 9 plus 1 people and can be opened up with the adjoining cottage to sleep a total of 16 people making it the perfect venue for larger groups. We also cater for corporate groups as we have a large room that can be used for conferences with wifi facilities and a large TV and surround sound than can be connected to laptops.
Hartland House is a spacious medieval farmhouse dating from the 12th century, and is comfortably and tastefully furnished. The entrance hall leads into a beautiful flagstoned dining room with low beamed ceilings and display inglenook fireplace, ideal for family or group meals. The living room is also beamed and features a wood burning stove, perfect for cozy winter nights. The kitchen is fitted in Smallbone antique pine with a large electric Range style cooker. The bedrooms are spacious, with one downstairs single bedroom with optional pull out guestbed. There are two staircases leading to further accommodation, one traditional and one Victorian spiral. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom. Next door is the family shower room with a large double shower and a landing area leading into a charming beamed twin-bedded room. At the far end of the house the spiral staircase takes you into a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is a further twin-bedded room close to the double bedroom. You will also find a downstairs shower room with hand basin, toilet and shower.
If you require accommodation for a larger group (sleeping up to 16 people), the farmhouse can be opened up with the next door 'Peter Rabbit cottage' by unlocking an internal door. Peter Rabbit adds yet more space to the large farmhouse. It is a very spacious and interesting three bedroomed property arranged over several levels. The entrance hallway leads into a light and airy south-facing lounge with French windows to the outside garden area. A log burner is situated in the old inglenook fireplace, perfect for cozy winter nights. A double bedroom and shower room are also situated on the ground floor with a staircase to another double bedroom on the first floor. You will also find a family bathroom, a well fitted kitchen with oak units and a dining room with views across the surrounding countryside and a twin bedded room.
