To enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside, without having to drive to the middle of nowhere, look no further than Ilkley Moor Cottages and Apartments. We offer a unique blend of town and country as our gates open directly onto the world-famous Moor, yet Ilkley is just a 10 minute walk away. The town grew as a glamorous spa resort and today boasts classy shops, elegant tea rooms and a wide range of pubs and restaurants, including Michelin starred. Ilkley's outdoor lido nestles in the valley, enjoying spectacular views up to the Cow and Calf Rocks and across Wharfedale. The 1000 acres of open access countryside on our doorstep is perfect for walking, climbing, horse riding and cycling. Just a few miles down the road, you’re in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Brontë country.
Ilkley is served by efficient and well-subsidised public transport, trains every thirty minutes shuttling to and from Leeds mainline station. Touring Yorkshire and The Dales is so easy by bus and train and you can hail the local nipper bus outside our house to get you into town.
Each cottage and apartment is equipped with all mod cons, including multi-channel Virgin Media cable TV, wireless broadband and iPod docking station. When you arrive, start off with a good cup of Yorkshire Tea and homemade cake, before moving on to your complementary wine chilling in the fridge. Light the candles, put your feet up and enjoy!
Our apartments - with direct access to the roof top garden - have the best views. The four cottages are ideal for families. We can provide wooden cots, high chairs, stair gates and boxes of toys. The outside play area, Wendy house, croquet, trampoline and a variety of animals are guaranteed to entertain everyone - young or old!

Transformed into a superb 5 Star cottage, The Old Gallery is M2 wheelchair accessible with a double bedroom on the ground floor together with a separate adult sized bunk bedroom, and an adjoining family bathroom with wheelchair facilities. The two bedrooms can be interlinked. Upstairs, the main en suite bedroom has a superking double/twin plus a single bed. There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom which share a third bathroom. The original housekeepers cottage has been fully refurbished. There is a log fire (free logs!) in the lounge, which has French doors leading onto the patio and garden with fine views across Wharfedale. The large, family kitchen (with ceramic hob and Corian worktops) and dining area opens onto the sunny cobbled courtyard. There is a ground floor toilet and a children's room with its own TV and DVD. Orchard Cottage bedrooms include an en suite double, twin and a bedroom with adult sized bunk beds plus a first floor family bathroom. Parking immediately adjacent.
