Launched in 1997, the Green Tourism Business Scheme has been championing sustainable tourism in the UK, and has become the largest and most successful scheme of its type in the world. Over 200 individual aspects of the business are measured in this process.

Together with the independent quality assurance inspection that each and every property featured undergoes, this shows that luxury and respect for the wider environment can go hand in hand.
