One in three of us will get cancer. A sobering statistic, which means that in one way or another, cancer will affect us all at some point during our life, either personally, or in the diagnosis of a family member or friend. This is why Premier Cottages is delighted to support the fantastic work done by Macmillan Cancer Support by partnering with them as our Charity of the Year. Premier Cottages’ members will be raising money throughout the year to support Macmillan in a number of ways. Many have donated holidays to be used as prizes either in the Macmillan Lottery, or for their Carers Week in the spring, and their Volunteers week in the Autumn. Others are organising coffee mornings, dinner parties, cycle rides, tea parties and Christmas events. You may well see collection boxes in some of the Premier Cottages that you stay in, and some members are matching all guest donations. Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. We look forward to raising as much as possible for this really worthwhile charity.
