Set in 70 acres with magnificent views overlooking the sea at Widemouth Bay, the award-winning Kennacott Court represents an outstanding collection of holiday cottages with unrivalled leisure and recreational facilities.
All cottages awarded four or five stars by the Tourist Board.
Cottages vary in size and character and accommodate two to twelve people. Each cottage is extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped with everything you could possibly need: microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview, DVD & VCR, CD player, direct dial telephone, wireless broadband and superb central heating for the cooler times of the year. All bedding and towels (including swimming towels) provided. Electricity and full oil-fired central heating are inclusive. Half our cottages have easy walking access. Dogs are welcome in some cottages. Babysitting is available by arrangement. Fax facilities. Cots, high chairs and stairgates on request (free). Pushchairs, playpen and wheelchair may be hired. Catering/home cooked meal service available.
We have an excellent Leisure Centre with a superb indoor swimming pool together with sauna, fitness room, snooker room and children’s playroom for under fives. Our super purpose-built Sports Barn houses our badminton court (also for mini-tennis) and games room with a skittles alley, pool and table tennis tables, table football and television with Sky.
We have comprehensive book, video and games libraries for adults and children – all free of charge.
In the grounds there are two all weather tennis courts, football field, adventure trail, fifteen acre nature walk, gas barbecues and picnic tables. A unique feature, from April to October, is a fine golf course with six full length holes – four par 4 and two par 3. All are maintained to the highest standards.
Kennacott Court is open all year to take advantage of the mild winter, early spring and warm autumns we are privileged to have in this part of Cornwall. An ideal holiday base for walking and exploring the wonderful Cornish coast and countryside. Short breaks are excellent value and we are sure whatever the season you will enjoy an unforgettable holiday at Kennacott Court. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, Tintagel, Clovelly, Rosemoor RHS Gardens and Dartington Glass are all easily accessible from Kennacott Court.
