Old Oak Cottages are situated in a delightful rural location on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, boasting spectacular views across unspoilt countryside towards the famous White Horse of Kilburn.
The six sympathetically restored cottages are ideally situated to explore the many attractions of North Yorkshire. Within a short drive you will discover a wealth of places to visit suitable for all ages and tastes. The cottages surround a pretty landscaped courtyard on the owners well kept 400 acre arable/sheep farm and open onto fields and many walks. They range in size from Mouse and Wren sleeping 2 people to Beaver that can comfortably sleep 6 plus cot. Great care has been taken during the renovation of the cottages to retain many of the original features - beamed ceilings, old timbers, mellow brick and wonderful arched windows. All the cottages are equipped to the very highest standards with good quality furnishings and fabrics, modern well-equipped kitchens. Each cottage is double glazed and centrally heated, making them comfortable and cosy at all times of the year with DVD, CD players and televisions with Freeview channels.
You can enjoy our indoor heated swimming pool (10m x 5m) with spa bath and sauna open seven days a week for your exclusive use. All weather tennis court.
In addition children can enjoy the large, secure play paddock with swings, slides, 14’ trampoline, play fort and football net. There are gardens surrounding the cottages with picnic areas and tables. Gas barbecues available.
