Cossington Park is a superb, listed period home in extensive beautiful gardens. All of our guests are different, but some of the features that are regularly mentioned in our guest book are shown on the right.
Cossington Park has been in the ownership of one family for over 300 years and the paintings, antique furniture, journals, papers and 5000 books reflect the family history.
Totally secluded, yet just three miles from the M5 and just a short walk from the village pub, it makes an excellent base from which to explore the Somerset Levels, the Quantocks, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Wells and the Somerset coast, as well as Bath, Exmoor, Longleat and Stourhead.
This very special house is large and elegant. Set behind a high stone wall with large wooden doors, the entrance hall leads straight through to an extensive lawn, borders full of shrubs, flowers, a ‘ha-ha’ with feature bridge, paddock, barbecue area, games field, contemplation garden, kitchen garden and walled vegetable garden. Indoor and outdoor games. Children’s playhouse and fort.
