Welcome to Gonwin Manor Cottages, our simple aim is to make sure you have a fantastic holiday.

Eight beautiful acres of soft green Cornish clifftop. Six solid granite barns restored with care, designed by architects and finished with an eye for luxury, comfort and style.

A broad and always-changing stripe of sea and – with views inland and out to the horizon – a massive dome of sky in all directions.

Towards the rear of the cottages there’s a landscaped lake and decked area, and a gently-sloping green space easily big enough to afford privacy and peace to picnickers, couples, families playing games and those starting the short, downhill walk to Porthkidney Beach. St Ives – with the old fishing harbour, the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum – is two miles away; its narrow, winding streets filled with cafes and galleries and shops and award-winning restaurants. And town meets sea on four separate safe and sheltered sandy beaches, all regularly cleaned, and lifeguarded most of the summer.

Closer to your cottage you’ll find the challenge of Cornwall’s oldest links golf course, as well as the chance to scuba-dive, horse-ride and surf. Although if you don’t judge a holiday by the increase in your heart-rate alone, it’s hard to imagine anywhere lovelier for a prolonged bout of doing very little...

We’ve based Gonwin Manor Cottages on an existing complex of barns, and retained many of their original features. Add to these solid granite buildings a refined finish, an eye for detail and unashamed luxury; then factor in the sheer sweep and scale of the views, and you’ll appreciate why a holiday here is genuinely unique.
