Chaffcombe Lodge is beautifully situated overlooking the ocean in the captivating fishing village of Beer, at the heart of the “Jurassic Coast” World Heritage site.

Known as “Devon’s best kept secret” Beer has a delightful choice of quaint village pubs, bistro, Italian and Indian restaurants, a traditional seaside chip shop, and lovely wooden beach cafés. Buy fresh fish, or the famous Beer crabs, on the beach, or hire a boat and catch your own. Visit Beer caves, and Pecorama light railway, a delight for all generations.

For guests staying at Chaffcombe Lodge every room is light and spacious with panoramic views along this spectacular coastline. Sitting on the balcony gazing out to sea watching the traditional wooden fishing boats is mesmerising.

I have equipped the house as you would expect of a top quality holiday home, generous beds and comfortable furniture, white cotton bedding, giant bath sheets, guest controlled heating, little luxuries which mean so much.
