You can find total comfort and peace, a stylish interior and a wonderful private indoor pool and spa in our fabulous barn on the Somerset Levels close to Taunton.
Walnut Arbour is a delightful, detached conversion of eighteenth century willow barns. The barn nestles under a spectacular walnut tree and is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Somerset Levels. There are many attractions nearby, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat, Bath, Exmoor and the Quantock Hills. The location of the barn, being only 8 miles from junction 24 of the M5 makes Walnut Arbour the perfect destination for both short breaks and longer holidays.
The barn is extremely well equipped to make any stay an enjoyable one. The beds have the most fabulous mattresses and all can either be singles or six foot doubles. The six bedrooms all have boutique styling and we provide decadent smellies, fluffy towels and cosy bathrobes. The bathrooms are roomy and plentiful, with great showers and comfy baths. The living areas are incredibly well styled with slate floor throughout and the sitting room has plenty of squishy sofas and a big television with the full Sky package. The dining room has a wonderful oak table and chairs with plenty of space! The kitchen has every modern convenience and if you choose to cook it will be an enjoyable time!
We arrange many caterers for guests at Walnut Arbour and you can choose from a fabulous menu from which you can pre-order and the food will be in the barn on your arrival to caterers who will come and cook and serve the food for you. We are also able to arrange many sporting and leisure activities for guests, as well as recommend some great local inns and restaurants.
The private indoor pool and spa, as well as a fabulous games room and wonderful outside spaces complete the barn and create what we hope is the perfect holiday destination for a large group. We pride ourselves on being very child and baby friendly and can lend almost everything you may need if you have younger guests among your party!

In this stunning barn are six bedrooms, two of which are en suite. There are a further two family bathrooms and a cloakroom. Five of the bedrooms have stylish metal or wooden zip and link beds which can either be twins or 6 ft doubles, two of these bedrooms have an additional single bed. The last bedroom has a kingsize bed. The wonderful living area has a slate floor, comfy sofas and a 40" television. The fully equipped kitchen has a fabulous cream shaker kitchen with granite worktop and slate floor (which runs through all the living areas). There is an American style fridge freezer and a top of the range rangemaster stove. The dining are has a great oak table designed to seat 14. The barn is in a fantastic location and perfect for family holidays, reunions or parties. The local area offers a wealth of attractions for all ages. |
