All properties are centrally heated throughout, the West Wing and Mezzanine Apartments each have wood burning stoves, the Lodge and Iona have “real flame” gas fires, providing extra comfort and warmth when required.

The West Wing and Mezzanine each sleep 4, the Lodge and Iona each sleep 2.

The lodge is a cosy “hideaway” and is ideal for guests seeking seclusion. Situated at the entrance to Balmory Hall in a quiet location it is less than five minutes walk from the shore, where seals are regularly seen. Fully equipped and with gas central heating throughout and a living flame gas fire in the living room/kitchen, guest comfort is always assured, especially during autumn and winter evenings. A sandstone single story property, the lodge is readily accessible via two small steps at the front entrance. The rear door opens onto a private patio and garden.

Iona Apartment

The Iona suite provides a spacious bedroom/sitting room with adjoining fully fitted and equipped kitchen and ensuite shower facilities. The Iona suite provides the option of being completely self-contained or the opportunity to take breakfast in the main dining room along with the daily servicing of the suite, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your stay.

A spacious ground floor apartment fully equipped to provide the comforts of modern living whilst at the same time maintaining the character and charm of the past. The main bedroom with wood panelled walls and part stained glass windows is spacious and along with the second bedroom provides ample sleeping accommodation for four adults. The open plan living room and kitchen has private access to the lawns and gardens with a wood-burning stove providing the extra comfort and warmth when required.

Mezzanine Apartment

Almost identical in layout to the West Wing Apartment, this apartment is accessed from a half landing off the main stairs of the Hall. The apartment provides spacious accommodation for four adults. The open plan living room and fully equipped kitchen has doors opening onto a balcony with views across Balmory grounds and the Firth of Clyde to the island of Cumbrae. Centrally heated throughout with a wood-burning stove to ensure that guests have the extra comfort when needed. Balmory Hall has a laundry room and drying facilities for the use of guests
