These charming cottages, on a working farm four miles west of the historic market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. A warm welcome is assured, with afternoon tea provided on arrival.
The cottages enjoy panoramic views of the Cheviot Hills and acres of beautiful countryside. They are open all year round and are an ideal winter or early season retreat with open coal fires and cosy soft furnishings. Pet llamas – Rowan and Mika, friendly working collies and George the rooster all add to the country idyll.
Berwick, on the border of Scotland and England and is famous for its Elizabethan Walls and splendid seaside views. Edinburgh and Newcastle-upon-Tyne are just 50 minutes by train or one hour’s drive away, making the cottages an ideal base to explore the Borders, Paxton and Manderston Houses, Floors and Alnwick Castles, Heatherslaw working model railway and mill, The Northumbrian Coast, Holy and Farne Islands, as well as outdoor pursuits, such as walking in the Cheviots, golfing, bird watching and fishing.

The kitchen opens onto the patio with garden furniture at the front of the house with enclosed garden and picturesque views. The fitted bathroom is on the ground floor with electric shower over the bath. The first floor has two attractive attic styled bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and bedroom 2 has twin beds. Bedlinen is supplied in the cottage and each bed has a large duvet and two pillows per person. Guests are requested to bring their own personal towels however, they are available for hire. Meter reading at end of holiday with allocation of fuel deducted balance is left to pay. Ample private parking at cottage. |

On the groud floor there is a bathroom with corner bath and shower over as well as a ground floor bedroom with double bed with en-suite wet room which is suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
