Montgomeryshire is known as ‘the Paradise of Wales’, these charming cottages are in the centre of this paradise.
The area is beautiful. Nearby is the Hafren Forest, from which the rivers Severn, Wye and Rheidol rise. The Plymlimon Mountains have many signposted walks and bounds the Clywedog Dam, home to sailing, fishing and nature trails. Rhayder, with its lakes is the home of the Red Kite. There are nature walks from the Elan Valley Visitors Centre and a farm where visitors can see the Red Kites feed in winter. Locally there are two golf courses, a driving range, pony trekking and sport centres with facilities for badminton, squash and swimming.
Dolgenau Hir (The Barn)
