Aish Cross, a distinguished Regency Country House, stands in the centre of the small hamlet of Aish, with beautiful views across the Dart Valley and surrounding countryside – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Adjoining the main house are The Coach House and The Stable which have been converted to a very high standard into two delightful holiday cottages.
The cottages nestle in a tranquil setting, surrounded by farmland with an abundance of beautifully scented wild flowers throughout the year. In the grounds of the main house there is a lovely lawned orchard with garden furniture and barbeque facilities for the exclusive enjoyment of guests.
Located between the riverside village of Stoke Gabriel and the medieval town of Totnes the cottages are just a 5 minute drive from one of the country’s most beautiful rivers, the River Dart.
The River Dart valley is a great place to spend a holiday appealing to couples, families, walkers, cyclists, water enthusiasts and bird watchers alike. Just a mile away in Stoke Gabriel you can walk alongside the banks of the river, go crabbing or launch your own boat or canoe. There is easy access to Torbay with its extensive amenities and the beautiful South Ham beaches and Dartmoor are a short drive away.
Aish is ideally placed for visiting historical buildings and gardens; there are five National Trust and English Heritage properties within 20 minutes drive including the stunning Greenway home of Agatha Christie, situated on the banks of the River Dart.
Food lovers will not be disappointed. The town of Totnes offers a wide choice of specialist food shops and also a renowned weekly market which includes an array of different produce. Award winning restaurants can be found in nearby Dartmouth and Torquay as well as some good pub grub in the surrounding country public houses.

Both cottages are equipped to a high standard and attractively furnished. Each cottage has its own unique appeal which includes oak beams, log burning fires and conservatories. It offers spacious character accommodation approached through an attractive double glazed conservatory which leads into a large open plan lounge and dining room with an adjoining fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer, microwave etc. There is also a downstairs cloakroom/toilet. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, the larger is double bedded and the smaller has the option of double or single beds. There is a separate bathroom (bath/shower/toilet). |

As the name suggests, the cottage has been created from the original coach house. It offers spacious character accommodation consisting of 2 large double/twin bedded rooms each with private bathroom. There is a large open plan lounge/dining area with an adjoining conservatory and a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer, microwave etc). There is also a downstairs cloakroom/toilet. A third double twin bedded room, with en-suite shower/toilet facilities may be incorporated into the accommodation with access through one of the bedrooms. |
