CHOOSE PREMIER COTTAGES FOR A BROADCHURCH INSPIRED BREAK
27/02/2017
The third and final series of Broadchurch returns to ITV tonight. For the next eight Monday nights, the stunning Dorset landscape will again take centre stage as the beguiling backdrop in the crime drama. Fans of the series can expect more amazing footage of the iconic cliffs, the bay and the rolling Dorset hills.
For those inspired to visit this picturesque county and the sights featured in the series, luxury cottage collection, Premier Cottages, has several stunning properties that make the perfect base.
Court Close is a gorgeous south-facing house that can sleep up to ten. Located in the pretty village of Litton Cheney, it’s very close to the unspoilt Jurassic Coast, which has featured heavily in previous series. It offers five en suite bedrooms, (the downstairs one is ideal for guests with limited mobility) as well extensive gardens and rural views.
The property is less than eight miles from West Bay, where many scenes in the next part of the gripping drama were shot including: the pier footage and DI Alec Hardy’s distinctive blue chalet. Bridehead Estate & Garden, which also features in series three, is also only three miles from here. A four-night mid week break in Court Close in March costs £900.
Just fifteen minutes from Court Close, Dove House and Swallows situated at the end of a mile long tree lined drive, provide an idyllic location for a Broadchurch themed stay. From the doorstep guests can access 1,000 acres of working farmland and a network of footpaths. The stunning Jurassic coast with its lovely beaches is nearby as are many of the locations featured in the series. A four-night stay for up to 13 in Dove House costs from £1600 and four-nights in Swallows, which sleeps four, starts from £375.
