Lanyon Holiday Cottages in Cornwall
Lanyon Holiday Cottages, comprising Lanyon Manor, Coswyn Barn and The Coach House, are located at the end of a picturesque private drive in the heart of an Elizabethan estate in Cornwall - the ideal spot for a private and peaceful wedding. This five star accommodation sleeps 30 guests.
Lanyon offers a variety of ceremony options. Couples seeking a traditional church wedding can marry in the local St. Gwinear Church. Those opting for a civil ceremony can wed in the front porch under the Lanyon coat of arms or in the light and airy conservatory. The Cart House is also available for civil ceremonies and or wedding receptions. This blank canvas can be dressed or themed to suit the happy couples requirements. A marquee extension can be added to the Cart-House for larger weddings or if preferred the couple can opt for a marquee in the meadow.
Prices for a two night stay start from £3,310 including accommodation for 30 and the hire of the Cart-House or meadow. To marry at Lanyon there is an additional charge of £550

Westwood Lodge Ilkley Moor, Yorkshire Dales
Westwood Lodge Ilkley Moor is a Grade II Listed country house on the edge of the world-famous Moor now offering small, intimate wedding receptions. Just two minutes from the Victorian Spa town of IIkley, Westwood Lodge Ilkley Moor is also close to picturesque Bolton Abbey, where the priory church is a popular choice for wedding ceremonies. Wedding guests can even be transported to and from the church in a classic vintage bus.
The private dining room comfortably seats 20 for a wedding breakfast, with views across Ilkley Moor and top quality local catering can be arranged.

Combermere Abbey Cottages, Shropshire
Quoted as “One of the most romantic places in Europe” by Empress Elizabeth of Austria, Combermere Abbey Cottages is ideal for a wedding ceremony and reception. The elegant fan shaped Glasshouse is full of style and drama and sits at the heart of the world’s only Fruit Tree Maze. This light, airy room offers 180-degree views of the gardens and seats up to 120 guests for a ceremony and reception drinks. Wedding breakfasts can be held in both the Glasshouse (seating up to 60 guests) and the Walled Garden Pavilion (seating up to 150 guests).
The beautiful Walled Garden Pavilion is a marquee-style, semi-permanent structure. With its floor to ceiling windows, sprung floor and interior wall lining throughout, it has excellent temperature control and soundproofing. The Pavilion has an indoor reception area, bar, stunning white dance floor, starlit ceiling, chandeliers and up-lighting throughout. For the newly-weds ‘Stone Lodge’ provides the perfect romantic hideaway situated at the grand entrance of Combermere Abbey. Orwell View Barns
Orwell View Barns nestle at the end of a private country lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a 700-acre conservation award-winning farm.
Orwell View Barns features three barns and guests can enjoy a variety of walks from their door around the farm as well as river bank strolls past hidden creeks to the Butt & Oyster pub at Pin Mill and to Shotley Marina.
Orwell View Barns offers a small number of weddings each year on a DIY basis. Couples can hire the property’s Havelock Barn for a Blessing and/or reception for just £800 + VAT. Hire of the Barn, flat grass area and the whole site for a reception up to 160 people (Friday to Monday) costs £1200 + VAT. Guests also need to book all the self-catering accommodation, which caters for up to 17 guests. Accommodation prices (Friday to Monday) cost from £1450. Guests are also required to book the three bedrooms in the Bed & Breakfast at Hill House, for the Saturday night. These rooms cost £80 per night including breakfast. Wolfen Mill Country Retreats, Lancashire
Wolfen Mill Country Retreats offers a stunning venue for an intimate wedding. The charismatic 300 year-old country mill lies on the edge of a wooded dell in the Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is located in the historic Chipping village, voted Britain’s third prettiest and home to the oldest trading shop in the UK.
Wedding ceremonies for up to 50 guests are conducted in the courtyard against the romantic backdrop of the stunning fells and the bubbling Chipping brook, waterfall and Koi Carp lake. Wedding receptions can be hosted for up to 70 guests in a marquee and up to 28 guests can be accommodated overnight. The Green, Cornwall
The Green offers the perfect location for a Cornish wedding. The property is set in 14 acres of lush green countryside and surrounded by apple orchards, meadows, a lake, and the stunning skylines of Cornwall’s iconic mining heritage.
The House at The Green is no ordinary retreat.
