Being the combined warmest & driest county in the UK – there is always something for visitors to enjoy in Norfolk. Here’s what’s going on in Norfolk in November.

THURSFORD CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

8th November- 23rd December – The largest Christmas show in the country with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians, many whom are West End performers. It’s a 3 hour extravaganza in a gorgeous Christmassy setting with twinkling lights and you will come out singing! And on certain dates you can take the little ones on Santa’s Magical journey. http://www.thursford.com/

SEAL PUPS

Now is the best time of year to see the seal families and their cute little pups which are being born all along the coast. Horsey is a great place to get close and at Blakeney you can get boat trips even closer – and all the seals love showing off! http://www.visitnorfolk.co.uk/things-to-do/Where-to-see-seals-in-Norfolk.aspx

FAKENHAM RACE MEETING

6th November – Enjoy a lovely day out at Fakenham racecourse for jump racing in a great setting from 1pm. Take a look around the quaint shops of Fakenham too, or visit lovely Walsingham in the morning. http://www.fakenhamracecourse.co.uk/

WARDENS’ WANDERS

12th November – Join the wardens for a morning walk around Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve – you might even get to see the barn owls – we are really lucky to have such great bird life and bird reserves here, so do make the most of them.

FAIRHAVEN AUTUMN

16th November – for garden lovers, enjoy the spectacular autumn colour around this ancient woodland garden with a guided walk by the Head Gardener at Fairhaven Woodland Water Garden. There’s a cafe too, for a lovely hot chocolate and scrummy cakes – all in a lovely setting.

Come and enjoy Norfolk…it’s Britain’s Magical Waterland.
