The beauty of Cornwall is romance personified. Long white sand beaches, cool turquoise waters, rolling countryside and rocky outcrop walks, the county is the place to wander aimlessly, hand-in-hand with your loved one, dreamily together.

Run across hot sands and dive into the refreshing Atlantic, rolling and laughing in the breakers. Dry off and collapse together, basking in the hot Summer as the sun hits its highest point of the day. Or enjoy the twilight hour at the end of a day when the heat has given way to the warmth of an orange sunset.

If you prefer a more guided approach to your romance, there are many places to visit across Cornwall to share special moments on your romantic break in Cornwall.

On the North Coast of Cornwall, Tintagel is a magical and mythical village steeped in the legend of King Arthur and Merlin the Wizard. Some of Cornwall’s most rugged coastal paths and walks are on this stretch of coast for you to explore, along with the historic Tintagel Castle; a spectacular historic site that sits partly on the mainland and half on a jagged headland jutting into the Cornish sea. You will feel the history and mists of romance when walking here.

Cornwall is home to some of the most stunning secluded coves the UK has to offer. On the South Coast of the Lizard Peninsula, Kynance Cove is a natural place of beauty where a lazy picnic in the Sun together is one of the most romantic things to do in Cornwall. It’s beautiful crystal clear waters are often photographed so if you want a spot of seclusion, then an out of season visit is likely to be quieter.

Beyond the history and scenery, Cornwall is also renowned for art and literature that its natural beauty has inspired. Frenchman’s Creek on the Helford River was the inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier’s book of the same name and where she honeymooned with her husband. Visit the creek and imagine yourself into the romantic plot of the book, the French hero summoning his English mistress to his pirate ship moored in the river. Or simply imagine sailing away on one of the many yachts moored on this beautiful stretch of water.

Whichever part of Cornwall you choose for your romantic break, we have a luxury cottage for you and your love. Choose a coastal cottage or countryside getaway with romantic hot tub, sauna or swimming pools and drift away from the modern world together.
