The cottage provides luxurious accommodation for up to 4 people, with a perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort.

Arriving at 2, The Vineyard along a short and picturesque private footpath, a ‘stable door’ entrance beneath a covered canopy porchway opens into a spacious dining kitchen that offers a comprehensive range of equipment and facilities, including an AEG electric oven, hob and extractor hood, with a microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine plus an extensive array of utensils for preparing and serving your favourite dishes. A circular oak pedestal dining table and chairs provides a comfortable setting for a relaxing and leisurely meal. There is a Zanussi washing machine and a steam iron and ironing board are also provided.
Step down from the dining kitchen into the spacious and cosy living room with exposed beams and French oak flooring, two very comfortable sofas and complementary oak furniture. The room features a cast iron gas-fired log effect stove set in a stone fireplace, plus a 43” Sony ‘Smart’ TV, DVD player and Bluetooth-enabled Bose ‘WAVE’ music system. The cottage has Ultrafast full fibre internet access direct to the property, from a router located in the living room.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-size frame bed with Hypnos mattress, complete with duvet, pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. There is a chest of drawers/dressing table and a wardrobe that provide good storage space for your holiday clothing, and a hairdryer is provided. A hypoallergenic duvet will be provided upon request. From the bedroom window the River Teme can be seen flowing towards Ludford bridge, and beyond are the wooded slopes of Mortimer Forest and Whitcliffe Common.
Bedroom Two has a double divan bed with Hypnos mattress, and duvet, pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. This bedroom has a built-in clothes storage unit with hanging rail and mirror, and a hair dryer is also provided. A hypoallergenic duvet is available upon request. Views towards the River Teme and Mortimer Forest can be enjoyed from the windows of this bedroom.
The contemporary bathroom comprises a bath with shower over, a washstand with vessel washbasin and a w.c., all by Ideal Standard. There is also a heated towel rail and useful airing cupboard, Each guest is provided with a set of high quality Egyptian cotton towels.
To the front of the cottage is a hand-made pitch pine bench seat with cushions and occasional tables, that provide a private and comfortable place to enjoy the peace of this lovely location.
Free on-street parking for 1 car is provided for Vineyard guests, utilising the Pay & Display bays outside The Vineyard in Lower Broad Street.
