Curbar Edge, Stanage Edge and Longtone Edge are all a short drive from the mill. There are many walking trails within very easy reach including the Monsal Trail which used to be the railway line from Matlock to Buxton. The trail crosses the Monsal Viaduct, a national landmark.
The mill has a bespoke, secure cycle store for SIX bicycles.
