Walk over the mountains, on the reformation trails of the monks, see the sheep being gathered from the hills of the Black Mountains to shear, visit an open farm Sunday, eat in our local pubs, which are great value. A great place for parents to bring young children or a growing family. The courtyard is a secure place for young children to play on the toy tractor, WiFi for the older ones. Meet the owner

Mrs Jane Powell

Hi pleased to meet you. I welcome you to Little Hare Barns, it is a truly magical place, secreted away under the Sugar Loaf. I farm with my husband, Richard, and children and have worked in tourism since 1981, opening the farmhouse to bed and breakfast. We met many overseas visitors revisiting their homeland in the 1980's. Our beautiful sixteenth century farmhouse casting a magical spell over all who visited and experienced the ship-like interior, cooking fresh meals from the large garden, we had time to harvest from, along with the busy schedule of mixed farming and selling milk. Now we offer self catering in two barns and hope visitors will take away with them some of the magic found here in Wales.
