About & Contact

Bright and airy ground floor cottage

Hogs Corner sleeps 4 and is set all on the ground level. Beautifully converted from one of the original old brick barns, it adjoins Harvest Keep, and has its own south-facing terrace space. This cosy cottage has a double bedroom and small bunk-bedroom with space for a travel cot in either. There is also a sofa bed in the living area if needed. For larger groups, this holiday home can also be joined with 'Harvest Keep' via a (lockable) inter-connecting door, to sleep a total of 9 persons.

Inside Hogs Corner, the French windows create a light and airy open plan living and dining area that opens out onto the terrace overlooking the courtyard, which is a lovely spot for breakfast outside. In colder months, put your feet up by the woodburning stove after a day's adventuring through the Suffolk countryside, beaches or high streets.

There is a fully-fitted corner kitchen, and a bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and basin, plus wide doorways for easier access are fitted here and to the double bedroom. The cottage is set alongside Bucks Farm’s other fun-filled family facilities, including the indoor swimming pool, games room, trampoline and lots of open playspace and toys to keep the kids entertained. In the mornings, animal feeding time includes hunting for freshly-laid eggs - perfect for brunch.

Bucks Farm is also pet-friendly, and dogs are welcome in any of the cottages. Hogs Corner is a great choice for families with small kids, and travel cots, highchairs, booster seats and plenty of other equipment is available on request. There are also lots of books and toys to borrow from the gamesroom - so no need to pack everything from home. 

And when you do want to venture further, there are great beaches nearby at Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, and why not try crabbing at lovely Walberswick? Bucks Farm offers a great farm holiday experience with the added bonus of being near the coast.

Meet the owner

Luke & Nicola Andrews

Hello from Luke and Nic Andrews! We discovered Bucks Farm in 2017 and fell in love with it the moment we saw it. We've been holidaying in Suffolk for years with family who live nearby in Aldeburgh, and sailing regularly at weekends on the river Alde for more than 25 years. Giving up corporate and suburban life - we made the move from Teddington with our two children Alex and Izzy, and our dog Bertie. We also adopted the chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and the ponies along with the farm – all of which you are welcome to help feed! We love the views and walks through the fields surrounding the farm, the fresh air, the tranquil and starry nights – and are pretty sure you will too. We look forward to welcoming you !
