About & Contact

Newly converted barn with private garden & hot tub

The Hayloft sits alongside the fields, with its own hot tub and large private garden. Sleeping 4 across two floors and furnished to five star standard, it’s comfortable and fun with a unique undercroft feature that makes a great den!

Set aside from the rest of the farm, and maintaining many of the original haybarn features, it offers seclusion and beautiful views across the fields from the garden bench as the sun comes up, and lounging space in the patio and lawn area for barbecues and outside dining. The space is secured with fencing and gates so is ideal for small children and/or pets.

Inside, the light and airy ground floor is open plan with two sets of French doors opening out onto the garden for long summer days. Eating in or outside - the kitchen and dining space are fully equipped. The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating, with a woodburner for cosy winter evenings, as well as large screen TV, DVD player and a pure radio/Bluetooth speaker unit.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with wc and basin next to the staircase leading upstairs, and the den is great for 'smaller' guests, including two futon chair beds and beanbags for 'camping' in!

The small staircase leads up to the landing and two airy bedrooms - a spacious master room with king-size bed, and a twin room with full length (6'3) built-in single beds. Between them is a modern bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and basin. The beamed ceilings are high and well lit, with opening Velux windows making the rooms bright and fresh. Ideal for families as well as guests looking for a little peace and relaxation.

Meet the owner

Luke & Nicola Andrews

Hello from Luke and Nic Andrews! We discovered Bucks Farm in 2017 and fell in love with it the moment we saw it. We've been holidaying in Suffolk for years with family who live nearby in Aldeburgh, and sailing regularly at weekends on the river Alde for more than 25 years. Giving up corporate and suburban life - we made the move from Teddington with our two children Alex and Izzy, and our dog Bertie. We also adopted the chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and the ponies along with the farm – all of which you are welcome to help feed! We love the views and walks through the fields surrounding the farm, the fresh air, the tranquil and starry nights – and are pretty sure you will too. We look forward to welcoming you !
