About & Contact

A luxury Somerset celebration house sleeping 18+

Comprising two 5* period holiday cottages, Cossington Park Estate can sleep 18 adults and up to 10 children in 9 luxurious bedrooms.

The properties provide both social spaces and quiet areas, allowing groups of family and friends to easily come together, or escape to a peaceful corner.

A much-loved family home for over 400 years, antiques, curios and a huge book collection provide a unique character and atmosphere loved by our guests.

Park House has 6 characterful bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There are 3 sofa-beds and we can also provide 3 additional folding beds and 3 cots.

Downstairs, the kitchens have everything you need to cater for a large group and plenty of space to sit and chat. We work with some wonderful caterers for special celebrations, or if you just want to relax.

The Library Dining Room can comfortably accommodate sociable sit-down dinners for up to 30.

The Drawing Room has a log burner and Smart TV. A second large living area has a Smart TV and games console, perfect for children to escape from the adults for a while (or vice versa).

Park Cottage is a beautifully renovated Victorian cottage with 3 double / twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The ground floor is level throughout, with a sociable Living/Kitchen/Dining area, ground floor bedroom and wheelchair-accessible wet room.

Large bifold doors open onto an enclosed walled garden, with level decking and ramped access from the deck to the rest of the garden. The cottage is accessibility rated to M1 and M2.

The accessible Games Room provides darts, table tennis and a pool table and there are plenty of other indoor and outdoor games available.

There is an accessible path leading from Park Cottage to Park House.

There are 22 acres of enclosed grounds, perfect for children and up to 6 dogs. The gardens include a badminton area, football field and children’s play area. The wonderful walled vegetable garden provides organic produce over the summer months.

There is plenty of onsite parking and 2 EV charging points.

Add something extra to your stay with a huge range of activities on the estate or nearby. Organise archery or falconry in the grounds, or perhaps hire a hot tub or arrange for a pampering treatment.

Nearby you can try out caving, climbing, dry slope skiing or canoeing across the Somerset Levels.

Cossington Park is close to 8 national reserves, including the RSPB’s Ham Wall – famous for starling murmuration's and thousands of over-wintering birds during the winter months.

There are also plenty of other attractions and places to eat nearby.

Cossington Park is just 3 miles (around 10 minutes) from junction 23 of the M5. Links to the wider motorway network make it easily accessible from the rest of the UK.

On booking, we’ll send you a comprehensive digital guide with full details of the properties, caterers and activity providers. And all the brilliant places you can visit or eat out when you stay.
