About & Contact

This elegant stone house sleeps up to 10 in 5 en-suite rooms; has south facing rural views and is fully equipped for the extended family group. Set in its own large secure gardens (with fenced pond) and with paddocks on two sides it is a lovely base from which to explore all that Dorset has to offer. Litton Cheney is one of Dorset’s prettiest villages with a local pub within walking distance and village play area for younger members.

It is a short drive to the famous Jurassic Coast, the historic market town of Bridport and many local attractions. The walking locally is fantastic and 2 well behaved dogs are accepted for a small extra fee. The downstairs bedroom with wet room allows for guests with limited mobility to move around the house with ease and the south and east facing terraces provide ample space to eat outside and enjoy the mature gardens. On site parking.

Meet the owner

Pippa James

Court Close is managed by the cousin of the owner who does not live nearby. Pippa has known the house since it was built and her family have lived and farmed locally for many generations. Her grandmother grew up in the nearby Court House and links with the village remain strong. James Williams lives nearby and helps with any on site issues and day to day running of the house.
