Dog-friendly cottage close to the Jurassic Coast

This property (with easy walking access) provides the perfect accommodation for a family or couple(s) enjoying a break. It is close to Dove House but private from it and is a single storey conversion with wooden floors and rugs throughout. It has one double bedroom (5 ft bed) with en suite bathroom/WC. TV/DVD, and one twin room (zip and link beds) with en suite shower/WC.

The central living area with woodburning stove is wonderfully cosy in winter with French doors onto a large secure garden with a pretty patio area and has a fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, microwave, Freeview TV/video, DVD player . Non-smokers only please. 1 small well behaved dog welcome.

Swallows cottage is also very successful for people with an elderly parent with its easy access and two en suites. Many people return as there is plenty to do locally at all times of the year and it is a perfect base from which to explore the wider area. NB: Swallows guests do not have access to the swimming pool and games room unless booked in conjunction with Dove House, however they do have access to the children's play area, hard tennis court and at most times a table-tennis table under cover.

Pippa James

Pippa James was born on the farm, she now lives on with her husband, Hugo, who also grew up farming locally. Part of a larger family estate, which they have farmed for many generations and feeling lucky enough to be in one of the most lovely places in the country to live, she has never felt any desire to be anywhere else in the long term. Sharing this hidden treasure with their guests gives them great pleasure.
