Our 5 star gold award self-catering accommodation is perfect for both couples and families.

Bridie’s Barn and Skylarks are contemporary barn conversions designed exclusively for two. Wonderfully light and spacious with fabulous views across fields to the sea. Both have patios, parking and EV chargers.

Our family cottage Seascape, is just a ten minute walk from St Loy Cove and the coastal footpath, with truly amazing views of the sea. In a private position, this spacious, single storey, three bedroom property sleeps up to six plus a cot. Large garden area, plenty of parking and an EV charger.

We are ideally situated for a holiday in West Cornwall, in a quiet rural location with lovely countryside and coastal views. Being an International Dark Sky Park also promises beautiful moonlit and starry night skies.

We are surrounded by the golden sandy beaches of Porthcurno, Porthchapel, Pedn-Vounder, Sennen Cove, and Gwenver. Within a short drive of Minack Theatre, St Michael’s Mount, Lands End, St Ives, Cape Cornwall and the pretty little coves and fishing villages of Mousehole, Lamorna and Porthgwarra.

St Buryan village is within a 6 minute drive or a 35 minute walk and has a good selection of facilities, including a well–stocked and licenced Londis general store, post office, pub serving home cooked food and a farm shop with cafe, homemade Cornish pasties and ready meals.

Carolyn Care

Hi, We are Richard & Carolyn and we look forward to welcoming you to our lovely area of West Penwith which is only five miles from Land's End. Richard is the fifth generation of his family to farm Downs Barn and Boskenna Manor Farm. We grow potatoes, cereals and have a small beef herd. We started our holiday business in 2000 when our four children were young with bed & breakfast in the farmhouse. Then in 2014 we converted an old farm building into two luxury self-catering barns, situated here on our farm at Downs Barn with views over fields and the sea. They are just for couples and have continually achieved the highest awards from VisitEngland. In 2022 we opened "Seascape", a cottage we converted on our land at Boskenna Manor Farm which is just a 15 minute walk from Downs Barn. This is a family cottage sleeping up to six plus a cot and it enjoys gorgeous sea views. We are delighted to be here to welcome you and look forward to offering you a memorable holiday.
