Sleeps 23 | 8 Double Beds, 7 Single Bunks | 2 Hot Tubs | 2 En-suite Tiny Houses | Dog Friendly
Book Wriggly Tin Meadow, the whole site, for your group and experience our idyllic meadow for off-grid living in the South Downs National Park.
Spend quality time together for family and group glamping. Our Shepherd’s Huts and ensuite cosy Glamping Houses are perfect for families and friends to get together here in 9 huts which sleep 23 people.
Glamping at Wallops Wood is off-grid, so it's back to basics for lighting, heating, cooking and washing - just like it was for a shepherd out lambing over 100 years ago.
Every hut (except Tiny Tin) at Wallops Wood has a fire pit. Cooking equipment is provided and on arrival guests receive a welcome pack including packet of biscuits, apple juice, wine and marshmallows (to toast on the campfire!) as well as tea, coffee and sugar.
Start your day with a full english, cooked over the campfire! Our breakfast baskets feed two and contain bread, butter, milk, apple juice, sausages, bacon, eggs, beans and tomatoes. A veggie option is also available. Breakfast baskets come in two sizes: Small (£25), which will do one morning, or Large (£30) which will last two. See the Guest Info section of our website.
Butser and Old Winchester Shepherd's Huts have private wood-fired hot tubs to enjoy a soak under the stars!
St Bride’s and The Wriggly Inn are Cosy Glamping Houses with en-suite shower and (odourless) composting toilet.
Tiny Tin is a small Shepherd’s Hut which has a cute woodburner but no kitchen. It can be used as an extra bedroom, or the beds can be removed to use it as additional indoor space ... perhaps as a children’s play room?
Two dogs (maximum) are welcome in each hut and receive a doggy welcome pack including treats and a new toy.
Enjoy the comfort and cosiness of the huts with the freedom of the great outdoors. Toast those marshmallows on the campfire, explore picturesque local villages and countryside, and discover award-winning local country pubs.
For guests staying in Shepherd’s Huts which do not have ensuites, the shared facilities are located separately in a custom-built Shepherd’s Hut comprising two washrooms, each with a shower and composting toilet. The composting toilets are clean and odourless and save more than 30,000 gallons of water yearly. And showering under 'watering can' shower heads is a fun experience.
Choose Glamping at Wallops Wood for your group's get together. We can help you plan a glamping Shepherd’s Hut holiday to remember.
