We offer luxurious cottage retreats in the Peak District, gaining a reputation for providing happy guests with a fantastic experience, and combining the warmth of a home-away-from-home with the indulgence of high-end holiday accommodation. With two beautiful properties to choose from, Swallow Cottage in Bakewell and Lodge Cottage in Castleton, you're guaranteed to find your perfect Peak District holiday. We're dog-friendly too, ensuring that your furry friends can join you on your trip. Lodge Cottage is set in a fantastic location just a minute's walk from the pubs, restaurants, and shops of Castleton. The ruins of Peveril Castle is a short (but steep) walk away while the nearby Peak Cavern makes for a unique visit underground. If you're feeling more energetic, hiking to the summit of Mam Tor is a spectacular way to spend a few hours. Finish off the day's adventure with fish & chips from the local chipshop just two minutes from the cottage before relaxing in front of a log burner and chilling out to complimentary Netlix on our smart TV, and maybe a soak in our luxurious full copper bathtub. Swallow Cottage's prime location in Bakewell makes it an ideal base for visitors to explore this popular Peak District town. Just a short stroll away (5 minutes walk) lie cozy pubs, vibrant restaurants, and bustling shops. Nearby, you can explore the grandeur of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, with their rich history and exquisite architecture. The Bakewell Old House Museum offers a glimpse into Tudor to Victorian times, while the Monsal Trail invites outdoor enthusiasts to embark on a scenic journey through railway heritage and stunning dales. The Bakewell Bridge offers a picturesque view of the town's medieval past, and the Thornbridge Brewery provides a modern taste of local craft beer excellence.

I'm obsessed about all things interiors and nature, so having the cottages has been the perfect opportunity to explore my passions and share them with our guests. My aim is to provide a gorgeous backdrop for your holiday and local knowledge that will help you get the most out of your trip to the Peak District.
