Enjoy a break in one of our Glamping Pods and wake up to countryside views around the Vale of Pickering. These pods, sleeping up to 4 people, were specifically designed for High Oaks Grange and include everything you require for a self-catering stay in the North York Moors National Park. Throughout the Pods you can stay connected to our high speed WiFi; simply pop in the password and you can connect all your devices to share your holiday snaps with family and friends, watch a movie and plan your next day’s adventure. Google Chromecast brings thousands of movies, live sport and catch up TV to your fingertips*. There is so much to do in this fabulous area of Yorkshire including the North York Moors Railway, Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Eden Camp and of course the North York Moors National Park. Further afield we are only 30 minutes from the beautiful Yorkshire Coast and the historic city of York ... there are amazing places and attractions to visit during your stay with us. The pods are the ideal place for a dog friendly short break with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep. A small fee is charged per night per dog. We provide bowls for your dog during your stay, and also some treats. Holiday collar tags with our contact details on are available from reception, for you to use during your stay. High Oaks Grange is a collection of luxury cottages, contemporary lodges, woodland lodges and glamping pods set within 60 acres of beautiful Yorkshire countryside and only a mile from the market town of Pickering and pictureseque Thornton-le-Dale. It really is a fabulous location for a short break or holiday.
High Oaks Grange is owned and operated by the Palmer family. We have been in the hospitality industry for 60+ years. We own a number of successful tourism business within 30 minutes of High Oaks Grange. High Oaks Grange was purchased in 2014. Over the next 5 years we undertook a complete redevelopment and opened our fabulous gates to guests in July 2019. Since then we have welcomed thousands of guests ... many have been back a number of times since. In 2020 we were proud to win the White Rose Gold Award for Best Holiday Park in Yorkshire and a White Rose Silver Award for Best Self Catering Accommodation. We have also achieved the Gold Award standard by VisitEngland. We have a team of staff who live on the estate who are happy to help our guests with any questions or issues you may have.
