Shepherds hut

Individual picturesque dog friendly retreats

Boutique style handcrafted Shepherd’s Hut with private hot tub or Bell Tent Glamping are the perfect escape.

The lovingly hand-crafted shepherd's hut is a magical hideaway tucked away in the woodland overlooking the fields towards the Malvern Hills. Inspired by the past, living in the present with all creature comforts and more ...

Includes a very comfortable king-size bed, underfloor heating, an en suite shower and WC, fully fitted oak hand-crafted kitchen with full size double oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment. The Aga woodburner keeps you warm and toasty in the winter months and the excellent modern insulation keeps you warm in the winter and cool in summer. Snuggle up with a book, watch TV, tune in the Roberts radio or surf the high speed internet.

Venture outside for stargazing in the dark night sky, toast marshmallows on the firepit or soak in the bubbling hot tub and let your stresses float away.

A fully furnished Canvas Bell Tent rests in a quiet corner of the old cherry and hop farm, surrounded by woodland with a view over the horse paddock.

Open plan layout with a full king-size bed and pocket sprung matress. Fully furnished with sheepskin rugs and carpets that create a cosy enviroment and several blankets are provided for extra warmth. A small woodburner keeps the tent cosy if the summer evening turns cooler.

A converted Rice Trailer provides you with all you need to create a tasty meal. Inside you have wooden worktops with 2 bar stools for indoor seating, a 2-ring gas hob and a small gas fridge - all cooking equipment is provided. There is also a gas barbecue located outside next to the picnic table.

A short walk away is an extra kitchenette and the shower room. Located inside 'The Cowshed' games room which has shared access by other guests. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, large Belfast sink with washing up facilities and extra cooking equipment, cutlery, and glassware. The shower room has an electric shower, a sani-flow flushing toilet and heated towel rail.

For your convenience we have also provided a flushing porta potty in its own separate tent behind the bell tent which can be used at night to save walking down to the WC.

Hop Pickers Rural Retreats offers use of a heated outdoor swimming pool during the summer months, a woodland walk to the wildlife hide which is tucked away by the top pond overlooking an active badger sett near the bell tent. A tennis court, and spacious grounds with plenty of seasonal fruit trees.

'The Cowshed' games room is a superb room with hours of entertainment. Including a large log burner, 3 seat leather sofa, 40inch smart TV, table tennis, darts, scalextric, pinball and bar billiards. Plus loads of board games to choose from. This creates the perfect escape on a rainy day!
