About & Contact

Family luxury In Yorkshire Dales National Park

Welcome to Moorside Farm holiday cottage, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. Here you will find an unspoilt area of natural beauty, with outstanding walks, perfect for those looking to relax and recharge. Admire the rugged landscapes by day or sit out by the chiminea and stargaze at night. The dales is a destination that has managed to remain largely untouched despite the passage of time.

Located just above Hebden, a small but perfectly formed village. Head to the Old School Tea room for afternoon tea or to the AA rosette-awarded, 18th century Clarendon hotel with its sustainable and seasonal fine dining, as well as real ale from local breweries. Spend time in Grassington, where the beloved All Creatures Great and Small is now filmed.

The 18th century farmhouse retains many original features combined with modern renovation. With WiFi throughout the cottage, it is the perfect destination for family reunions, celebration of special occasions, a working holiday or to just have a relaxing treat with friends. Whatever your reason, you can relax, explore, walk, or shop while coming back to a beautiful five star experience.

The lounge is a warm and inviting space with the original stone fire surround that houses the log burning stove, creating an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. Underfloor heating throughout the first floor is a great addition. The traditional farmhouse kitchen is complemented by a Yorkshire stone fireplace and solid oak breakfast bar.

All the beds have carefully selected luxury linens for your comfort. Black-out curtains for a perfect nights sleep. All bedrooms are spacious and have TV's for your own personal viewing. Relax on the patio, enjoy stunning views of Burnsall Fell. Enjoy the established garden with traditional dry stone walls, a wishing well, wild garden, ornamental fireplace and insect large insect hotel.

We offer dog friendly accommodation too, please do check our T & C’s. Your dog/s are welcomed with a small hamper containing towels, treats and blankets for their stay. We also have a dog mattress if required.

Currently we are also working harder to make Moorside Farm more sustainable. Moorside uses electricity from renewable energy sources primarily from wind, solar and hydro sources to power our 100% green electricity supply. The farmhouse is insulated under the floor, in the walls and the loft to help with keeping the property green.

We are proud to present Moorside Farm to our guests, we have a keen eye for detail and our guests feedback is paramount to us. Moorside Farm holiday cottage is complimented for cleanliness, a well equipped accommodation, a great place to make memories, an excellent base for walking and finally the bedrooms are to a high standard. We reside close to Moorside and nothing is too much trouble.

We offer you a perfect rural escape ...
