No.30 Whitby is the perfect choice for large families or friends to come together either to celebrate in style or enjoy a seaside holiday in the comfort of your own space. No.30 is an exclusive and unique property with a fabulous central location in the heart of Whitby, on the West Cliff. No.30 is a large spacious house that can accommodate up to 20 guests across 10 en suite bedrooms. Once inside the property, on the ground floor you will enter into the grand but cosy living room which not only has three large sofas and a tv but a large woodburning stove. This room can either be closed off with the double doors or left open, leading through to the open plan kitchen/dining area. There are two extending white gloss dining tables which when configured can seat 18. The large breakfast bar provides seating for eight. You will be able to open the two sets of large sliding doors which open up the area further to create an extensive space by letting the outdoors in. The courtyard is a sunny, south facing secure area that has simple modern planting and plenty of seating including outdoor furniture. The space as a whole provides a fantastic and generous 100 square metres of socialising space. Bedroom configuration 1st floor: 2 x king-size en suite bedrooms 2nd floor: 4 x king-size en suite bedrooms 3rd floor: 4 x king-size en suite bedrooms Whitby things to do No.30 Whitby has a fabulous central location within the town hence there are plenty of activities for all the family which are easily accessible from the front door so no need to move your car. From walking and cycling to history and surfing. Walk to the easily accessible beach to enjoy rock pooling, hunting for fossils, or just enjoying the beach for what it is by eating ice cream, making sand castles and playing in the waves. Stroll down the beach when the tide is out to the village of Sandsend, where kids can play in the beck that runs to the sea. Head into the historic centre of Whitby with its cobbled streets, independant shops, cosy pubs and many hidden yards waiting to be discovered. How many can you find? Whitby being on the edge of the North York Moors National Park the more adventurous of you could walk from the coast inland to one of many villages nestled in the moors. How about walking the Cleaveland Way in either direction up or down the coast both leading to stunning quaint coastal villages. Travel on wheels. Get on your bike and pedal along the Cinder Track from Whitby to Scarborough taking in the coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay along the way. Or let the train take the strain by boarding the North Yorkshire Moors steam train which travels through the breathtaking moors to the market town of Pickering. Fancy taking to the water? Then head to the beach where you can book yourself a paddle/body board lesson or catch some waves being taught how to surf, all kit can be hired. Prefer to stay dry, wrap up and board one of Whitby's boats for short sea cruise, it is not only informative but you will see Whitby from a different angle and keep your eyes open as whales and dolphins are regularly spotted. Plenty of children (and adults) can be found by the swing bridge catching crabs. Crab buckets can be purchased nearby with all the kit you need. Beware it gets competitive! If you are interested in heritage or want to learn a little more history then walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey or visit the Captain Cook museum. Also there is a treasure trove of curiosities in the museum set within the grounds of Pannet Park next to the children's playground. Inside Whitby Pavilion there is a cafe overlooking the sea and it is here where Whitby's theatre and cinema can be found for entertainment on the rainy days. Don't forget to bring your golf clubs as Whitby has a golf club as well as a couple of fun putting courses on the West Cliff near to the paddling pool. If you are a keen photographer and have your camera, create a memorable shot as Whitby is one of the few places to see the sunrise and the sunset as it faces due North. There is plenty to do and every generation and interest can be entertained in Whitby, it's just waiting for you.
