The Tap House is a stunningly refurbished (2021) Georgian house situated next to The Northbrook Arms Public House in the pretty village of East Stratton, Hampshire. Perfect for large families, families sharing or groups of up to 8 guests. Living room has comfortable sofas, log burner and Smart TV. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with seating for all. Bedroom 1 is a spacious twin room with ensuite that overlooks the village green Bedroom 2 is opposite the landing to bedroom one. A king-size room with ensuite that overlooks the village green. Bedroom 3 is at the top of the stairs on your right and is a gorgeous king-size ensuite room that overlooks the courtyard. Bedroom 4 is across the landing from bedroom 3 and is an incredible super king-size ensuite room (bath with shower over) that overlooks the side gardens of the site. All bedrooms have a Smart TV too. Outside is a lovely seating area with barbecue to enjoy those warm summer evenings together. Direct from the door is a fantastic walk that you can take through East Stratton and Brown Candover using Northbrook Arms as your starting and end point (10.25 KM or 6.75 MILES (2.5 hrs depending on walking speed)) and then pop next door for a draught lager or a G&T. Northbrook Arms is situated 8 miles North of the historic city of Winchester and close to Portsmouth, Southampton and the south coast. There is so much to do with a range of choices of local attractions giving you plenty of things to experience and enjoy whilst you are here - wine tasting, guided cycling tour and Ice sculpting. Spend the day at Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park and Micheldever Woods. Visit King Arthur’s Round Table and Jane Austen’s House, the Gun Wharf Quays for shopping and take ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Whether you are an adventurer, an explorer, creative, or just curious, there is something for everyone.

Adam and Kate Shanley purchased the closed Northbrook Arms pub in April 2019. Since then they have gone through an extensive build and development project to get to what you see today. The site features a collection of luxury self catering cottages alongside a village pub that has a stunning glazed restaurant and private function room.
