Luxury child-friendly barn in the Cotswolds

Southwold Barn is a spacious barn located in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside. With plenty of space, four bedrooms, and open plan living/dining, this is the perfect choice for a group getaway. We also offer a range of optional indulgences to make your family holiday, celebration party, pampering weekend or get together with friends that extra bit special.

The ground floor has a large vaulted drawing room with original stonework, oak beams and gorgeous views to rolling countryside. There's also a fully fitted kitchen which opens on to an open plan dining area. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has a four-poster bed. These ground floor bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the first floor, there is a twin room with an en suite shower room and a fourth double bedroom with an en suite bathroom. There is also an additional small sitting area with a TV.

We are child friendly, and the local pub is walkable and serves delicious food with a lively atmosphere. Southwold Barn has a large garden with a patio area and barbecue - perfect for socialising and relaxing in summer months.

There is also lots to do in the local area, including excellent countryside walks, the beautiful village of Compton Abdale, famed for its 'Crocodile' Spring, and Chedworth Roman Villa - a place of peace and beauty, where you can enjoy stunning Cotswold scenery, wonderful wildlife, and impressive Roman mosaics.
