In the heart of the fishing village of Overstrand

Sharing the sunny courtyard with The Old Bakehouse is the delightful Hardy’s Cottage, named for the previous owner who lived here for many years is suitable for both couples and young families.

Pleasantly situated in the heart of the fishing village of Overstrand Hardy’s cottage is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach; making it an ideal location for both seaside holidays or a few quiet days away.

Inside the design of the cottage is open plan but without losing any sense of cosiness! The charming living room boasts an impressive feature fireplace, television, DVD player, radio and a traditional polished wooden floor. Comfortably decorated this is a lovely room to relax in after a hard day exploring.

Through the arch leads you into the hospitable cottage style kitchen/diner which has fitted wood units together with a matching tables and chairs. Underfoot is the traditional Norfolk pamment flooring evocative of a bygone era. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher. The washer/dryer and fridge/freezer can be found in the handy little utility room.

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a style reminiscent of the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. The master bedroom has a wonderful king-size reproduction Victorian iron bedstead whilst the second bedroom has large, comfortable bunk beds. Also upstairs is the attractive family bathroom, complete with shower, bath, toilet and wash basin.

Overstrand is a crab fishing village just to the east of Cromer and within walking distance either along the beach or by the cliff top path. It has sandy beaches ideal for young children to build sandcastles, play beach cricket and football or hunt for crabs. You can find a play area, shops, public house and a restaurant.

Within reach of The Broads, Amazona Zoo, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate, Sheringham Park and so much more.
