Potterslade is a traditional, Welsh farmhouse-turned holiday home, where guests can indulge in scenic natural beauty, and enjoy the open space of an old farmyard and rolling lawns. It is the perfect place for children to play and for dogs to roam the surrounding landscape.
The cottage sub-divides internally (outside of the school holiday season) to sleep 4 and 8 guests. Complemented with two well-equipped kitchen/diners, the largest kitchen can dine 14 thus releasing space in the smaller kitchen for a 6x3 folding snooker/pool table. Two kitchens allow for ethnic/vegetarian designation and sometimes the smaller kitchen even becomes the baby zone!
Potterslade also features traditional lime plastered interior walls, oak-beamed ceilings, oak inglenook fireplaces, multi-fuel stoves, slate floors that are warm to walk on fuelled by new technology air source underfloor heating, luxury leather suites that are just perfect for unwinding.
On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, all have en suite power showers, WC, vanity units and heated towel rails plus a user-friendly ground floor double bedroom for those with impaired mobility (not fully disabled).
The outdoor life can be enjoyed with Calor gas barbecues, patio furniture and relaxing sun loungers. Smooth concrete surrounds the house for infant trikes/scooters and the large yard makes for children to enjoy off-highway cycling (cycles not provided). Converted outbuildings for infant soft play, table tennis, bar football, rowing machine and multi-gym.
