Scremerston is the perfect location for exploring the North Northumberland coast, the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh.

Our cottages are each awarded 5 Stars and in addition hold the, "Gold" Award in recognition of exceptional quality by the National Tourist Board for England. Both properties offer elegance, relaxed luxury and superb attention to detail.

Situated in beautiful North Northumberland the cottages are a 10 minute walk from each other. They may be booked individually or together by those extended families or friends who prefer their own space.

The ancient market town of Berwick upon Tweed is 2 miles to the north with shops including M&S Simply Food, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and pubs plus a thriving theatre/cinema and new leisure centre.

The stunning North Northumberland Coast - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is less than one mile away. Here magnificent quiet beaches and lush sand dunes at Cocklawburn Beach, Cheswick Sands and Goswick Bay merge into a 7 mile stretch of golden sand leading to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne’s tidal causeway.

Guests enjoy many destinations including scenic coastal; walking to Berwick on Tweed. Day trips to the Farne Islands. Holy Island with Lindisfarne Castle and Priory, Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster, Cragside House and Gardens, Alnwick Garden and Castle, Keilder Forest, Bamburgh Castle and Grace Darling Museum, St Abbs Head Nature Reserve, Floors Castle, Kelso Racecourse and numerous Golf courses all within a 30 minute drive. Take the direct train to Edinburgh in 45 minutes for a fabulous day out.
