The moment you step in the door you will feel relaxed and at home. Seaford Holiday Cottage has a welcoming feel with everything laid out for an easy and comfortable holiday. There is space for everyone, spread out and enjoy! Seaford is well equipped so you will only need to bring the minimum with you. We have a Touch Stay Guidebook which can be found on our website. It has all the details of the house and what’s there, places to visit in the area including Norfolk’s fabulous beaches (all either on the doorstep or within a short distance of the house), where to eat, where to shop, things to do and wonderful walks in the North Norfolk National Landscape. There is so much to do in the area for guests of all ages. Seaford Holiday Cottage is in the village of Weybourne, 3 miles from Sheringham and 3 miles from Holt. It is a short walk to the pub and the village shop and there are some great walks around the village, on Kelling Heath (where the steam train passes through) and along the coast path with stunning views of the sea. Weybourne's pebbly beach is only a 10 minute walk, known as Weybourne Hope and there is a great walk from here along the cliff top, past the coastguard cottages and down the lane by the windmill, all in view of the steam train that regularly runs from Sheringham to Holt. Just outside the village is Weybourne station which you can walk to from the house and hop on the train for a nostalgic round trip. The house has a fabulous kitchen where you can gather, cook and eat together and plan your holiday trips out and activities or set up a board game after dinner. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, air fryer, microwave, American style fridge freezer and wine cooler. The games room with a football table adjoins the lounge which has doors onto the enclosed garden. There is a shaded dining area for morning coffee or alfresco dining. It’s a real suntrap and a great space for relaxing. Upstairs there are two king-size bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room. The third bedroom is a twin and there is a family bathroom with shower over and whirlpool bath. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area serving fantastic local food including the famous Cromer Crab. In the area there are four Michelin Starred restaurants including Morston Hall and Meadowsweet in Holt. Crabs and fish are caught off Weybourne beach where you can watch the boats come in and out. It's not just fresh fish that is available locally but an abundance of fruit and vegetables all grown on the fantastic Norfolk soils. Seaford is close to Holkham Hall and the famous expanse of Holkham beach, also the National Trust Properties of Sheringham Park, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling. Cley Marshes visitor centre is a short distance away as is Blakeney. Further afield the children would enjoy BeWILDerwood near Horning and a day on the Norfolk Broads is great for all the family. Our guests write in our guest book what they think about the house and what they have enjoyed doing in the area during their stay. You can find this on our website. Whatever you choose to do on holiday, a warm welcome awaits.

Edward and I are farmers, growing arable crops and potatoes in a regenerative way. We always holidayed near Weybourne and Sheringham with our children and indeed as children ourselves! This is such a beautiful stretch of coastline and every season has something different to offer. In early 2013 we purchased Seaford and spent 6 months updating it and making it guest ready. Edward refitted the kitchen and bathrooms and turned the garden from an area covered in gravel into the pleasant space it is today. I loved making all the soft furnishings and in July 2013 we welcomed our first guests. This area has so much history and I have used this to write some murder mystery stories which are available for guests to enjoy during their stay. We manage the property ourselves and love welcoming our guests to this beautiful part of Norfolk. We would love to welcome you too.
