South Wing is a beautiful 17th century grade II* listed house available for holiday rentals. With five very large comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped modern kitchen, oak-panelled dining room and a huge lounge, South Wing is the perfect holiday hide-out for family and friends to enjoy.
The large, private gardens and woods extend over more than an acre, and are perfect for kids and dogs to explore, playing games or simply relaxing.

Set in its own grounds, South Wing is just a short walk from the centre of Hunmanby, a well serviced village that has a great selection of shops, pubs, and eateries - it even has a brewery and a whisky distillery! (* We use a local hot tub rental company which can deliver, fill and heat a high quality tub ready for use when you arrive.)
Perched on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and 2 miles from the stunning beaches of Filey Bay, Hunmanby is a very popular base for holidays with families and friends.
The local area has many amazing walks with sea and country views.
Nearby seaside towns include Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. Malton the self proclaimed 'food capital of Yorkshire' is just 30 minutes away by car, and the historic city of York, another 20 minutes on.
There are five bedrooms all on the first floor and all are huge and comfortable with lots of natural light and views across countryside and sea.
Bedroom one at the eastern end has a queen-sized bed and a single, with an en-suite shower room. Views to the east over the village and across to Filey Bay, and to the south across the gardens and adjacent golf course.
Bedroom two has a double bed and shares a 'jack & jill' bathroom with bedroom three. Lovely views across the south facing gardens and terraces.
Bedroom three is great for kids to share! It has a double bed plus three singles and shares the 'jack & jill' bathroom. Facing south with lots of lovely natural light and stunning views.
Bedroom four is a twin room with two very comfortable single beds. Views to the west over a small courtyard. A cosy WC with hand basin is next door. Depending on the make-up of your group guests can use any of the bathrooms - we'll let you decide which one.
Bedroom five is very grand with a large en-suite bathroom, separate dressing area, cosy snug and even a balcony with views to the South and West - perfect for a quite sundowner after a busy day.
South Wing has an extremely well equipped, large modern kitchen with twin Neff ovens, induction hob, two dishwashers, two large fridge/freezers plus drinks fridge.
Fast free WiFi keeps you in-touch indoors whilst outside is a huge private garden, a very short walk to pubs and shops and a 5 minute drive to the beach.
If you want to put your feet up the large main lounge is the place to be - woodburner (with plenty of logs), comfortable sofa's and chairs, baby grand piano and a feeling of luxurious space. There is a separate cosy TV lounge with 65" smart TV, perfect for streaming your own apps and accessing freeview channels.
