This former fisherman’s cottage is in a prime yet quiet location in a mews terrace and is just 50 steps away from Rick Stein’s Cafe and Paul Ainsworth’s No. 6 restaurant. The cottage has been stunningly modernised to provide a perfect retreat in the heart of Padstow. Stargazy cottage is a luxurious holiday hideaway for two, with top of the range kitchen and bathroom fittings, a king-size bed, a bath as well as separate shower, and underfloor heating. Just off Middle Street, it has been renovated to the highest of standards and boasts contemporary features, including a kitchen with granite work surfaces, NEFF kitchen appliances, and equipped with well known brands, including Denby crockery, Jamie Oliver cutlery and Dualit kettle and toaster. King-size handcrafted oak bed with alpaca pillows and duvet. Branded fluffy towels and Laura Ashley bedding. Partitioned shower and toilet area with romantic tub bath in bedroom area. Both living area and bedroom are dual aspect. Front patio garden with table and chairs. Loading bay within 25 metres. Parking is available in public car parks locally. Public loading bays on Middle Street, are generally available for ease of arrival/departure.

We've owned Stargazy Cottage since 2014 and live locally, 4 miles away, at Trevorrick Farm where we also have converted barn cottages. We fell in love with Stargazy's tucked away but central location, off Middle Street, where Paul Ainsworth's Number 6 is located as well as Rick Stein's cafe. We love the fact that breakfast, lunch and dinner are virtually on your doorstep. It's amazing to be able to walk to the harbour early morning and also in the evening, when you can have Padstow almost to yourself.
