The main single storey 'Old Barn' presents elegant dining for all guests as well as the 'sitting' and 'recreational' areas, complete with a comprehensive entertainment centre, including fibre WiFi internet (Up to 100 Mbps), Sky, Blu-ray/DVD/CD, Bluetooth speakers and music players. There is also a pool table and table tennis table.
The guest accommodation is situated on 2 floors in the adjoining barn – the 'New Barn'. The accommodation is ideal for 5 couples or an extended family. A cot is available upon request.
The kitchen is equipped with an oil-fired AGA (2 hotplates, 2 ovens) and attached electric module with two further ovens and an electric hob, an American fridge freezer, dishwasher and breakfast table sitting 6. Off the kitchen is a utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble drier and a South West facing patio.
The main room in the Old Barn has a commercial drinks fridge, two dining tables to seat 10–16 (depending on the configuration), three leather sofas and two swivelling chairs and a games area with table tennis and pool tables.
Leading from the Old Barn, there are double doors onto a raised South West facing decking area, the place to be on a sunny afternoon! Guests have exclusive use of a barbecue area (gas and charcoal) with garden furniture for outdoor dining.
The Great Barn is set within a large external grassed area and there is also a ground floor patio area off the kitchen/utility room, which also connects via a few steps up to the decking area.
The ground floor has a WC, twin bedroom and double bedroom, with shared Jack & Jill bathroom.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed, TV, French windows and Juliet balcony, and with private access to Jack & Jill bathroom with shower. The bathroom is shared with bedroom 2, accessed via separate entrance.
Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with two sleigh beds and a Jack & Jill bathroom with shower, which is shared with bedroom 1.
The staircase leads to a landing from where there are three further bedrooms and two bathrooms. A double bedroom overlooks the Old Barn and is connected to a Jacuzzi bathroom which can also be accessed from the landing. The next bedroom is a twin and the final bedroom on the upper floor is a king-size master bedroom with en suite facilities.
Please note: outside the curtilage of the barn are two sets of ponds, one in front of the adjacent farmhouse and two (not obvious) below the barn. Guests should ensure their children are kept within the designated and fenced areas at all times for their own safety.
The entrance gate from the roadway into the farmyard allows access to the property and there is on-site parking for six cars.
