Quirky dog-friendly cottage in the Cotswolds

The Guggle is a spacious, quirky holiday cottage, situated in picturesque Northleach one of the lovliest 'off the beaten track' Cotswolds towns in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Complete with every modern convenience you'd expect from a luxury self-catering holiday cottage, The Guggle retains its original charm and character with exposed stone walls, beams, nooks and crannies (including The Guggle Room, so-called from the fact that the Cotswold Stone ceiling is in the shape of a spiral resembling a snail's shell or "guggle" as it was called locally). 

With a classic cottagey beamed sitting room with an inglenook fireplace with inset Woodburner, games, well-thumbed Penguins, sofas to relax on, a TV on the wall with Bose soundbar and Amazon Firestick (for you to sign in with your own login credentials). It's a homely space for two. There is a light airy kitchen where you pull up a pew at a large oak table; and look out to the west-facing enclosed cottage garden, perfect for al fresco Summer meals. 

The bedroom is a lovely space with traditional Cotswold stone walls and exposed beams. It features a comfy double bed, a small wardrobe with drawers, and two bedside tables. The en-suite shower room comprises a quadrant shower, handbasin, and toilet.

The Guggle is happy to be dog-friendly, with an enclosed, sunny walled cottage garden with seating area and BBQ, perfect for you and your dog.  

You can stroll to the pubs and shops in the village, cycle along the Cotswold lanes, walk along beautiful pathways or drive to National Trust houses and gardens Chedworth Roman Villa, Sherborn Lodge all within easy reach, this is the perfect place for a cottage holiday.
