A slice of heaven in the North Yorkshire Moors

The Knoll is a 2 bedroom idyllic cottage situated in the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey. Enter a realm of retreat magic and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, The Knoll invites adventure seekers and lovers of luxury.

Doggies are more than welcome!

Inside the open plan living allows you to share your time together.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and there’s a solid wood country dining table and chairs big enough to seat everyone. Stunning views can be seen overlooking the valley from the kitchen window. The wood burner is perfect for those cooler nights when you can snuggle into the luxurious soft furnishings, or just relax with a good book and a glass of wine. There is a separate laundry/drying room-perfect for drying coats and boots after a day exploring the Moors.

Two beautifully decorated bedrooms. Both bedrooms have Smart TV’s and use only the most luxurious bedding. The bathroom has a large, stunning copper roll top bath. A separate shower, WC and hand wash basin.

The outside space is endless … private parking for 3 cars, a terrace area with a hot tub with views direct into the valley, gardens, tree’s, plants and an enclosed area for dogs.

The Knoll is set on ground floor level, including the 2 bedrooms. 

Whilst here you will instantly feel relaxed and secluded from everyday life, though just a few minutes’ walk to the village. There are 2 pubs, a village shop and a handful of tea rooms in the village. Please note some of the tea rooms have seasonal opening hours. Beautiful walks and the world famous Chimney Bank cycle route right on your doorstep.

In 2023 we bought The Knoll as a run down, hardly lived in home. We instantly saw its incredible potential and began work straight away.
