These three superb apartments form the city branch of our exclusive, privately owned and managed  holiday property collection called Heritage Escapes.

The Hop Store is a superb choice for those wishing to have accommodation on one level. You'll find it on the second floor of this award-winning Ogleforth Brewery conversion, with access to your door by lift or stairs. Offering a generous open plan living area, which is light and airy thanks to the large warehouse windows and a Juliet balcony that gives views over York Minster. High, beamed ceilings create a real sense of space, whilst underfloor heating ensures warmth throughout. Deep sofas offer ample seating for four, complemented by modern dining furniture.

The Malt House, our duplex apartment with the same quality appointments and finish, matches the comfort, luxury and space of The Hop Store. The lower ground floor houses the master en suite bedroom, whilst the second bedroom, separate bathroom and lovely open plan living area occupy the entry floor, providing high ceilings, large windows, lovely views and underfloor heating. It is accessed by the original stone steps to the building.

The Brew House is our newest acquisition and is the most delightful first floor apartment, easily accessed by lift or a short flight of stairs. It offers two roomy bedrooms - one en suite master bedroom with king-size bed and the second, a generous twin in the discreet mezzanine bedroom. The beautifully furnished open plan kitchen/dining/living area enjoys high ceilings, underfloor heating and comfortable seating. The second bathroom has both bath and shower over.

Home entertainment is catered for with flat screen Freeview television in all bedrooms and living areas, DVD players, iPod docking stations and free WiFi broadband. Nothing has been overlooked in the superb kitchen areas. Classic cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware will add style to a simple brunch, a romantic dinner, or even a quick and easy takeaway.

The master bedrooms in all three apartments are generously proportioned. The Hop Store and Brew House offer a king-size bed, The Malt House a super king. Each master bedroom has matching bespoke built-in furniture and a large en suite shower room, beautifully tiled, with a powerful shower and quality fittings. The twin bedrooms to each apartment also provide similar comfort for our guests. The twin rooms are each served by a second bathroom. A small but charming courtyard area with outdoor furniture is shared with other residents and guests. It's the ideal spot for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day's sight-seeing.

We're situated on Ogleforth, a tranquil, ancient thoroughfare, adjacent to York Minster. You're minutes from The Shambles, the city walls, Betty's Tea Rooms, Cliffords Tower, Yorvik. The famous Railway Museum is not to be missed! Step outside and you are instantly surrounded by heritage, culture and entertainment. Restaurants, museums, wonderful shopping theatres, historic buildings and galleries are all part of this wonderful city.

Private parking, for one car of normal width, is provided for each apartment, within a secure gated courtyard adjacent to the building. Secure cycle storage is available in the basement.

Aside from so much to do and see within the city, York is situated in the centre of the three Ridings of Yorkshire. Why not visit The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway featured in the Harry Potter movies, The Yorkshire Dales, stately Castle Howard, fashionable Harrogate or atmospheric Whitby?
