Sycamore cottage is the largest property at the Thirley Cotes Farm estate, sleeping 10 guests. The property has an upside-down layout with the living space being upstairs and the 5 bedrooms being downstairs. Sycamore cottage was formally a thrashing barn and grain store which has been lovingly renovated and restored to create a home away from home for larger gatherings with family and friends. Sycamore Cottage has a beautiful enclosed stone terrace, private hot tub, outdoor seating and Weber barbecue making it the ideal location to put your feet up and relax. Guests can also enjoy a selection of shared facilities, including an outdoor children’s playground, picnic space and small games room with pool table and family entertainment. The cottage has access to its own private parking as well as EV Charging points if required. There’s lots to do in this charming corner of the country, known as The North Yorkshire and Cleveland Heritage Coast. You’re perfectly located to explore the seaside towns of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey, as well as the higgledy-piggledy village of Robin Hood’s Bay, where you can stroll along sandy seashores, spot seals or even pay a visit to the grave of Bram Stoker’s Dracula atop Whitby’s abbey ruins. The nearby North Yorks Moors are renowned as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offer tail-wag worth walks in abundance.
