About & Contact

Perfect to explore the Norfolk and Suffolk coast

This conversion of old farm buildings features limestone floors, beamed ceilings and exposed brickwork. Tindall Barn is beautifully furnished and well equipped with underfloor heating throughout. The 'all on one level' is suitable for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility.

Three bedrooms - one bedroom with a king-size bed and en suite wetroom. One bedroom with a super king four poster bed with en suite bathroom. One bedroom with twin beds or 'zip and link' king-size as required and en suite wet room. The open plan living area/kitchen is a superb space for family catch ups and entertaining, with improved satellite broadband for recreational and business use.

Garden furniture, benches and a gas barbecue are all close to the barn with the summer house far enough away for a spot of bird watching or keeping an eye on the fishing. Superb walking from the door and over looking a carp stocked pond this is a country lovers' paradise.

Children and dogs will love the freedom of the wide open spaces, a great place to fly kites and drones.

The Tynegate herd of Friesian cows frequently graze in the meadows nearby. Whilst stoats, hares and partridges often nose the windows of the barn. Tindall barn is perfectly situated to enjoy the stunning dark, star-filled skies.

Seething Observatory is a mile along the road and is often open for public events with viewing through their telescopes. The 40 miles of Suffolk's Heritage Coast and the Norfolk Broads National Park are all within 30 minutes drive. The Cathedral city of Norwich - in the UK top 10 for shopping, is only 25 minutes away. Beccles is the local market town, with its varied eateries, bespoke shops and excellent shopping facilities, plus a Lido/open air pool. The Beccles Broads and its fantastic views can be explored by day cruiser. All in all the barn in its unique situation is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy.

Reviews for Tindall Barn

Meet the owner

Joanna Felgate

Austin and I farm a family farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders. The mixed farm carries grazing cattle and a dairy herd with the emphasis on sustainability. The grazing land creates a habitat which has a positive influence on the wildlife and on the soil. We have a son Alex, who works with ourselves on the farm and a daughter Camilla, who is a full time photographer. Our other interests are gardening, textiles and interior design & I am a keen yoga/Pilates enthusiast.
